ORIENTATION FOR NEW RECRUITS (Updated June 9,2010)

 

A job offer will be e-mailed to all successful candidates by the City of St. John’s Human Resources Department in the very near future.  Please check your e-mails periodically.

 

Following the job offer, a Clothing Form will be e-mailed to you by the SJRFD for your tactical clothing sizes.  Please complete the form and e-mail it back to the SJRFD or fax it to 758-3247 no later than June 14^th.

What You Need to Know for the Orientation

 

·        Orientation is scheduled for June 22, 23, 24 and 25.

 

·        The 1^st day of Orientation (June 22) will be held at Central Fire Station Administration (double doors located on back of building).  At that time you will receive a schedule for the remaining 3 days of orientation.

 

·        Please ensure you arrive at Central Fire Station no later than 8:15am.

 

·        The summer shift schedule is forecast to begin July 1, 2, 3 and 4, 2010.

 

·        You will be informed of your summer shift designation during the Orientation.
